So I’ve done a few of these on the side, people always bring me their AWD Fords with that whining noise in the rear or fluid leaks near the PTU. This one came off a 2015 Explorer, AWD, daily driver with like 140k on it.
OEM part was toast. Full of sludge. Got this replacement, came boxed decent, welds looked clean, all ports lined up. Threw it on in the afternoon, no weird fitment issues. Bolted straight in like factory.
