    So I got the Courtney Layered Lace Midi Dress for a friend’s bridal shower cause the pics looked super elegant and I’m a sucker for anything lace. And yeah… it looked nice when I first pulled it out the box. But once I tried it on, I had mixed feelings.

    The lace layers are pretty, not gonna lie. Soft, not scratchy, and the color (I got the dusty rose one) was exactly like the pics. But the inner lining was a little thin for my liking — I could kinda see through it in bright light, so I had to wear nude shapewear underneath just to feel comfortable.

    Fit-wise, the top was snug, especially around the bust. I’m a 34C and it felt tight across the chest, even though I ordered my usual size. Waistband sat nice though, gave me a decent shape, and the midi length hit right below my knee which I liked. Just wish the top half had a little more stretch.

    Zipper in the back worked fine but needed help zipping it cause the fabric gets caught if you rush it. Also, the straps felt a little flimsy — not like they’ll snap or anything, but they just don’t feel high-end.

    The “luxurious” part is kinda pushing it. It’s pretty, yeah. But don’t expect something that feels like designer or boutique level. For the price, it’s alright if you’re just wearing it once or twice. Got compliments, sure, but also kept adjusting it all day.

    Would I buy again? Maybe if it was on sale. Cute, but not as fancy-feeling as the name makes it sound
