Put this in my 2015 F250 and man it looks awesome. The 12 inch screen is huge and really changes the whole look inside. Touchscreen is mostly smooth but froze once, had to restart. Still way better than stock SYNC 2 tho.
Install took a while and instructions weren’t super clear, but I got it done. Wireless CarPlay works fine, but sometimes takes a sec to connect.

So I drive a 2015 F250 Lariat and finally got sick of that old screen. It worked alright but let’s be honest, it looked like a calculator. Wasn’t sure about all this “Tesla style” stuff but this one had good specs and a big screen, so I gave it a shot.
Install wasn’t easy for me — not a wiring guy — but I had a buddy help and we got it done in like 3 hours. Once it booted up, man… the screen is clean. Bright, clear, no lag. Looks like something out of the future sittin’ in my dash now.
I use CarPlay mostly and it connects fast every time I start the truck. No weird glitches or audio cutting. AC controls moved over fine, and backup cam still works too. That was my biggest worry.
Only thing is, I’m still figuring out some of the settings — there’s a lot. Not hard, just takes some poking around. But once it’s set how you like, you’re good.
